I was very nervous about coming for the assessment (due to the negative experience in the past with Jobcentre, GPs etc.)

Therefore, I was very surprised when I arrived and I was greeted in the reception by my assessor. They were kind, warm and caring which I could feel from the moment I first spoke to them. They did not judge me or rush me during the assessment and did not ask irrelevant questions. They listened to me carefully and asked questions to better understand my needs. I have never felt as much respect from any professional person as I did with the assessor.
